We purchased the cabins in the Fall of 2017. We are a small family-run business with Charlie as head of the maintenance department and Andra in charge of reservations, advertising, landscaping, housekeeping, and answering calls, texts, & emails. Sophia helps clean when she's not busy with school & sports. Charlie is also a concrete superintendent and Andra teaches school part-time. We have enjoyed hosting people from all over the USA, and several countries! The cabins were originally built between 1940-1960, when life (& US 31) was much slower and quieter. We offer true roadside lodging for guests traveling through, as well as guests who stay to explore Ludington & Manistee! Our cabins are continually being upgraded, most recently with a new well, septic, windows, beds, and furnishings. Read on to see what some of our past guests have said:

"We had a wonderful experience staying there on our girls trip. Manistee is a great destination and the cabins were very clean. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in northern Michigan."-Betsy & gals, Lowell, Michigan

"Wow! Better than staying at a modern hotel. Very rustic cabins, clean, comfortable. Made accommodations last minute for me and friends, even upgraded us to the three bedroom cabin, which was awesome. Slept for 10 hours, that bed was comfy. I would recommend this place to all my fishing and hunting friends and family." -Ray, St. Clair Shores, Michigan

"We stayed in the Large Cabin and had an excellent time. We had everything we needed and it was relaxing and cozy. I'd recommend Highway 31 Cabins to anyone looking for relaxation and comfort! I'd love to stay here again and the kids are already asking when we can come back!"- Lynne, Michigan

"We couldn't be any more happy with our stay! Andra and Charlie were amazing, the cabin was perfect a close drive to Manistee or Ludington, the small things we forgot to pack they luckily had them provided in the cabin, and best of all our dog had such a great time and was very welcomed on the property which is a big plus for dog owners! We are already planning out next trip back, thanks so much Andra and Charlie!"-Sara, Davison, Michigan

"Highway 31 Cabins is wonderful. It's right on the highway, easy to find... and there was really not much noise at all from the road. Charlie and Andra communicated really well, and were waiting for us at our arrival. There are so pleasant, friendly, and they had information for a drive to parks/towns that was great. We had Cabin 4-5, and it was very clean and cute. It has two bedrooms with a bathroom between them. Fire pit and picnic table. Perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend this.
