WELCOME!

Now booking for Summer 2025!

Our large cabin is open throughout the winter. Our 6 small cabins are currently closed for the season & will open back up in May.

Our property consists of 7 vintage roadside cabins located between Ludington and Manistee on US 31, close to the beach, trails, and other attractions. Our quaint cabins were built between 1940-1960, and have been upgraded throughout the years. We have a large cabin that sleeps up to 6 and is available YEAR ROUND! Our 6 small cabins sleep from 2-4 and are open May-November. The cabins will accommodate up to 26 people, so they are perfect for groups of family & friends to gather together, yet still have privacy. All cabins, including our pet friendly cabins, are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between guests, so they are clean and fresh for each new guest. Cabins are equipped with keyless entry locks on all doors. Each cabin has its own bathroom with shower.  You have your own private outdoor space with a fire pit and picnic table.

Tents, RV's, campers, hammocks, pop-ups, vehicle tents, air mattresses, etc. to allow for additional people are not permitted. We are not a campground and do not have the capacity to accommodate more than 26-30 guests max. on site. Registered guests are allowed visitors during the day, but we ask that you don't use our cabins as shower houses for family or friends who may be camping nearby.

You are welcome to smoke outside, but smoking/vaping, etc. is prohibited inside the cabins. This includes all forms of cannabis. If cabins show signs of smoke, a cleaning fee $250 (minimum) will be charged to your credit card.

You are welcome to cook outside over your private fire pit, camp stove, or grill. But for safety purposes, and to comply with our insurance policy, open cooking inside of our small cabins with hot plates, deep fryers, camp stoves, griddles, etc. is not allowed. We can provide an extension cord for outside use of these items.

Check yourself in using the keypad anytime after 4:00 p.m. We may be able to accommodate an early check in request, but please call or text to arrange this prior to showing up on site. We need time to properly prepare the cabins between guests. Check out time is promptly at 10:00 a.m.  A fee of $20 per each half hour past 10 am will be charged for late check out.

Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of check in will be charged the full reservation amount. We do not offer refunds if you decide to leave early, or if the weather does not cooperate with your planned activities. The cabin has been reserved for you.

A cancellation fee is applied to all cancelled reservations to cover credit card processing fees.

PLEASE READ PET POLICY CAREFULLY

We are happy to offer our guests the privilege of traveling with a dog in Cabins 1, 3, 4/5, and our large cabin for a cleaning fee of $20 per dog, per night, 2 dog maximum. Non-aggressive breeds only, per our insurance policy. $100 maximum fee per pet for stays longer than 5 nights. We ask that you refrain from letting your dogs lay or sleep on the beds and furniture in order to keep things clean and new looking for other guests. If you intend to let your dog sleep on the bed, bring your own bedding. Since your dog is part of your family, he/she should not be left unattended in the cabin. If you intend to leave your dog in the cabin while you're out, he/she must be in a kennel. We have had damage done by dogs that became nervous after being left alone in an unfamiliar place. We understand that your pet may be very well behaved, or not used to being on a leash, but for the safety of your pet, as well as other guests, dogs are to be on a leash when outside. Clean up after your dog. Baggies are provided. Please make sure your dog is up to date on shots and flea/tick treatments. Fees will be charged for excessive pet hair, fleas, damage to bedding or cabin contents, and excessive barking that disturbs other guests. Please don't show up with a dog that is aggressive toward other dogs or people. That isn't a relaxing vacation for anyone, and it will result in an immediate non-refundable termination of your stay. If your puppy is not yet fully potty trained/house broke, please wait to travel. Guests agree to all aspects of this policy at time of booking. They apply for the entire length of your stay, even when we aren't on site to see you. We ask that all policies apply to guests traveling with service dogs and emotional support dogs, since allowing animals in our cabins requires additional accommodations & cleaning time.

Our strict pet policy is a result of past experiences. We love our dog guests and hope our human guests will honor our pet policy, so we can continue to offer affordable pet friendly accommodations!

We rent cross country skis, boots, and poles, as well as snowshoes, seasonally, on site for $15 per day. We can also help you with pick up or drop off of your canoe or kayak to our nearby rivers. Please call ahead for these services.

NOTE: Our cabins are vintage 1940's era Roadside cabins located directly on US 31, which is a heavily traveled road. Traffic can be noisy at certain times of the day. Please watch your children and pets closely and keep them on our property while you are staying with us.

Our cell service is patchy up here, so be patient...leave a voicemail or send a text.
